El Hippo is our Lower Mountain trail, with a start above the old Dyfi Timber sawmill. At half the length of our full trails it’s the perfect track to warm up, warm down or for party laps with the mates! Once you’re up to speed you can ride El Hippo in two and a half minutes linking in with the bottom of 50 Hits jump line to shred the last few tables.
El Hippo packs a lot of punch in its shorter length. From super-fast berms, to big hip jumps to downhill style drops, technical rocks and roots and the Chute!

Starting amongst the oak trees these first berms are rad. Long, super fast and mint fun - rail the berms and feel your grin spreading!

Dyfi Bike Park is based in the Esgair Forest three miles north of Machynlleth, just off the A487 towards Dolgellau It’s clearly sign-posted from the main road at Pantperthog.
