Original DH

RED

The first track on the bike park – now new and improved! A completely new section leaves the original track for a longer loop through a larch wood and back towards the saw mill. Combined with a start on Super Swooper and optional finish back on Swooper or the more challenging Racetrack, Original DH offers around 7 minutes of track that will help take your riding to the next level.

FEATURES

Fast flowing open sections, confidence-building berm sections and a couple of really nice tabletops. Everything is rollable with huge potential for progression and loads of places to practise generating speed.

"This track is great, you feel safe to hit it because Dan has designed it but at the same time it feels really natural and real"
Scott Watkins
"Considering how wet it has been the track is unbelievably dry, It’s a testament to Dan’s track-building that he knows exactly the right angles so all the rain runs off."
Scott Aisthorpe

Feature

1 Beef's Step Up

Split off Swooper onto flowy singletrack and you’ll hit Beef step up; spot your landing coming in, unlike a lot of jumps you’ll have lots of time to plan and get ready. This feature is mellow and forgiving with a wide landing that’s higher than your take-off so it’s a really safe way to get into jumping.

Feature

Two Tables

The most fun jumps ... not too big, start with a really fun roller to pick up speed, the first table is long and low, then it’s over another little roller to a wide step-up.

Feature

Mini Quarry Drop

Off the step-up and you’re into a drop with two options – small and rollable on the left or a bigger drop on the Right. There’s a lot to think about here; combining Two Tables with Mini Quarry drop is a great section to start-off slow then send it a bit bigger on your 2nd run!

Feature

Hi Roller

Onto the new loop and over the hi-roller, this section is built by Dig crew stalwart Simo, introducing the Aussie vibes in the run down to Muddy’s berms. A stylish feature to drift your back wheel over, and it's a great opportunity for photos!

Feature

Simmo’s Switchbacks

Fast and flowing, a great section to practise generating speed out of the corners and a little mellower than Muddy’s berms which are up next, nail then take a breather before tackling Muddy’s.

Feature

Muddy's Berms

Faster and steeper than Simmo’s but still well within the capability of a red trial rider, Muddy’s berms are named for another Aussie mate, ex-World Cup rider Graeme Mudd. Think about your technique and get your weight into the corners nice and early!
